Concert review Guns N' Roses

I ventured to New York City this past weekend to see Guns N' Roses. If you haven't been to New York, you are missing out! The city streets are full of life, everyone is racing through the city at a furious pace, and the sites (e.g., Empire State Building, Greenwich Village, Museum of Modern Art, Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, etc.) are like nothing I have experienced before. Alice in chains reunion!

While reading through pollstar.com, I read that Jerry Cantrell is reforming Alice In Chains with a new lead singer. This is one of the happiest moments in my life, and I am going to brave my fear of planes to wander to several AIC shows!! Rock on!

Concert review Bon Jovi

I started to get into music in the mid eighties with the big hair band craze, and like everyone used to listen to Bon Jovi. Since I wasn't able to see them back in their prime, I decided to attend their show last night. The show was awesome, and it was cool hearing classic such as "Livin' on a prayer," "Wanted dead or alive," "Blaze of glory," "Beds of roses," "Bad medicine," "Lay your hands on me," You give love a bad name," and my personal favorite "Runaway." I was amazed at how agile Jon Bon Jovi and Richie were. They were zipping around the stage like bats in the light, and periodically popped up in mysterious locations (e.g., in the middle of the floor) to play songs…
