Miniature Solaris installation

While catching up on one of the Solaris discussion lists I subscribe to, I came across Peter Tribble’s miniature Solaris installation procedure. Peter’s site has some super useful information, and his procedure reminded me of the work Clay did years ago to strip down the Solaris systems we put into production.

Berkeley lectures online

While perusing digg.com this week, I came across a link to numerous awesome lectures at Berkeley University. The lectures are given by professors at Berkeley, and include courses on Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science (the OS course is awesome), Economics, History, Physics and Electrical Engineering. Good stuff!

Super useful SysAdmin site

I don’t typically BLOG websites I find, but the sysunconfig website deserves mentioning. There are numerous useful pieces of documentation on the site, and it looks like the the webmaster likes to get his hands into every facet of technology! Awesome!
