Slides from my CentOS cluster server presentation

The fine folks at ALE invited me back this month to give a presentation on CentOS cluster server. I had a blast presenting, and want to thank everyone for coming out. The slide deck I used is now up on my website, and I will post links to the cluster configuration file I discussed later this week.

  1. Hey justintime,

It is rendering ok with the gnome PDF viewer and the various OS X PDF readers, so I’m not exactly sure what is going on. I created it with the OS X save to PDF feature, so I would expect it to be readable by all of the PDF readers. I’ll try to create it again this weekend.

  2. Hi Matt,

I can confirm that with evince (ubuntu 9.10) all pages are blank.

I’ll file a bug on this one!

  3. I’m getting really frustrated with Oracle Support, and their inability to meet their service requirements. So I was just thinking the other day, “What could I implement in Linux that would replace my Sun Cluster stack?”

    Thanks!

  4. Evince may not be rendering it correctly but at least for me the data is still there. Its just white text on white background. If you select the text you can see it while its highlighted.
