Installed b85 today as was surprised by the fantastic improvement this has coursed !
Very happy indeed !
I hope boot times will decrease as well at some point. If one turns off services such as smserver and webconsole then things start to speed up somewhat but that&#039;s off topic anyway :p

Anyway...  yes that initial SMF delay has caused many customer complaints hurled at me during that first reboot after install.  I reassure them that it only happens once but it&#039;s still irksome.  I&#039;m happy to see this getting some attention.
